Doug Ede is the Managing Attorney of the Litigation Department at Schiller, Kessler & Gomez, PLC. With more than 50 jury and non-jury trials in both state and federal courts, as well as appellate experience before the First, Third, and Fourth District Courts of Appeal, Mr. Ede is one of the “go-to” trial lawyers in Florida. Mr. Ede personally represented the Miami Heat President, Pat Riley, through two weeks of jury trial of a real estate development matter resulting in the resolution and dismissal of the case involving claimed damages in excess of $20,000,000.
In his over 28 years’ experience as an attorney in Florida, Mr. Ede has represented individuals and businesses, including Fortune 500 companies, in the areas of wrongful death, personal injury, alcoholic beverage industry litigation, complex commercial litigation, ADA claims, labor, administrative and municipal actions, first party insurance claims, admiralty and maritime, construction litigation, and complex commercial transactions.
